Horses Got Talent – Liberty Class Winner
In honor of the Mustang documentary series coming out in 2017, the Mustang Heritage Foundation sent a prize for highest scoring Mustang at Horses Got Talent.
The first place winner of the Liberty Class was Lauryn Zepeda and her mustang, Gringo.
From Lauryn Zepeda. . .
“Gringo” is my little BLM mustang out of Salt Wells, WY. Together he and I competed at Horse’s Got Talent winning first in Liberty.
Out of the three classes we competed in, winning in Liberty was the greatest compliment as it is what I am most passionate about. Gringo (along with my other horses) is trained via positive reinforcement. This means our sessions are generally “at liberty” with no restraints and lots of freedom of choice. The winning performance demonstrated Gringo dancing, spinning, side passing, reversing and more while topping it off with a bow. It was a night to remember and we’ll cherish our blue forever!
